TOPIC: Recommend cb radio

Recommend cb radio 4 months 1 week ago #1416

Given last weekends experience where truckers were radioing ahead about my gf flashing, I want to be able to listen in. I would like a cd radio to hear all the chatter. But not wanting anything expensive. Just something good enough to hear and maybe respond to local talk

Is the radio enough? Will I need antenna? Can it be internal?

Brand? Model suggestions?

Wouldn’t mind broadcasting the tit possibilities to those on the road

What channels do they use?

Any help appreciated as I know nothing about radios

In all reality, most any $50 radio & $30 antenna will for for your needs. There are handheld models that will work but only for a mile or so.

we use just a small hand held with it's on antenna I think it is a midland. it does not get out very far but why would you need to when most of the trucks you want to talk to are with in site.
